The 3D Cyberpunk Apartment was the final project for the ADT 201 course, where the objective was to replicate a digital artwork by Sheer Madness using Autodesk Maya.

3D Model
The project involved creating detailed 3D models while ensuring that all faces and vertices were accurately placed and optimized for clean geometry. Special attention was given to architectural elements, props, and environmental details to match the reference artwork closely. Lighting and camera positioning were also key components that evoke the moody, futuristic atmosphere typical of the cyberpunk genre. Overall, the project strengthened my technical modeling skills and ability to communicate tone and style visually within a 3D space.
Reference
The approach to creating the model began with establishing the base structure. Once that was in place, I measured the spacing, using the pipelines, vents, and fans as initial reference points. Due to a tight deadline, I then prioritized building the larger components of the model. Since the reference image contained many details, I created a checklist to ensure nothing was overlooked.
For the lighting, I experimented with various types available in the program to match the look of the reference image. For example, when working on the window, I selected multiple faces and applied a Blinn material to achieve a glass-like effect. I then tested how light would reflect off the window to simulate the appearance of it mirroring the room.

3D Model Close Up
In this image, I was required to use a camera to capture a specific object from the models I created.
